Spread the love

For the movie buffs, last week must have been tough to choose between three big films ‘Queen’, ‘Gulaab Gang’ and ‘Total Siyapaa’. Thank God! You don’t have to go through the similar ordeal because ‘Bewakoofiyaan‘ is the solo release for this week.

Directed by Nupur Asthana and produced under the banner of Yash Raj films, the film features Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonam Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor in leading roles. Not only lovers, even their families can relate to the story.

Bewakoofiyaan - Official Trailer

Bewakoofiyaan is about Mohit (Ayushmann Khurrana), a marketing executive who struggles to make a mark in his marketing career and successful Mayera (Sonam Kapoor), a financial head. Though this young, middle-class pair firmly etched in their corporate profiles is full of high aspirations while they are very much in love with each other, they believe that they can live on love and fresh air!

But, well like any other filmy pair, Mohit and Mayera too have complications in their love life! Mayera’s determined bureaucratic father V.K Sehgal, who believes that only an affluent guy can give contentment to Mayera’s life and a mid-level executive like Mohit isn’t a good match! Bewakoofiyaan highlights the delicate nature of relationships during trying times such as recession and low cash situations.

Gulcharrey - Song - Bewakoofiyaan

From the first looks of this youthful trailer, one expects funky score from Bewakoofiyaan. Thanks to energetic title track from composer Raghu Dixit; followed by Gulcharrey, sung by Benny Dayal and Aditi Singh Sharma; Rumaani Sa, by Shreya Ghoshal and Mohit Chauhan; Aye Jigda by Vishal Dadlani and Khamakhaan by Neeti Mohan. Remember the “O Heeriye” song by Ayushmann Khurrana? This Punjabi number was released last year as a solo single and has now been included as part of the film and its soundtrack.
So, do you think love will win over money in Sonam-Ayushmann’s relationship? It’s a movie date with Bewakofiyaan this Friday!!
