Spread the love

Come this Friday, movie-goers can head to theatres for much awaited romantic comedy ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ by Saket Chaudhury. So, what can audience expect from the unusual coupling of Vidya- Farhan? Are they the ideal choice to essay the roles? Will this be a story that the audience, especially the married couples, can relate to? Well, you have already witnessed the ‘effects of love’ in the prequel ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’, so now it’s time to understand some ground realties before you enter into wedlock.

Farhan Akhtar (Sid) is amusingly great and does justice to his happy-go-lucky role. Vidya Balan (Trisha) is no less; she does a brilliant job by playing the role of dominant housewife. The trouble in their marital life begins with the birth of the child; post which the chemistry between the two starts fading.

Frustrated with their strained relations, Sid looks out for advice from other source (read here, as friend). How Sid manages his life with those deceitful advices, is what Saket tells us in this humor-filled film. He strikes a fine balance between humour and emotion with this story.

Like its prequel, SKSE is also loaded with peppy and foot-tapping tracks. It has some equally interesting numbers like Yaha waha, rendered by Farhan himself. Music Director Pritam has brought back the hit track from the prequel and tailored it for the– Tauba main vyah karke.

Tumse Pyaar Ho Gaya

Being single or married; the movie will surely have a ‘special effect’ on you. So, we recommend, go and watch Shaadi Ke Side Effects when it hits the marquee this Friday.
