While Naseeruddin Shah will be playing Einstein in Motley’s Einstein directed by Ratna Pathak Shah, one more play called Yatri, will premier its Heroine banungi Main at the fest this year. Darindey, another play which revolves around a family which apparently seems to be close knit but finanacial spanner is thrown in this smooth running family. Among others, Rangbaaz’s Pittras Ka Ras will also be performed in the fest for the first time. Oh My Sweet Land! A realistic play will explore the crisis in Syria through the stories of its two million refugees.
If we have to talk about the budding talents and new entries, Fringe Theatre is an ultimate stage for them! Krapp’s Last Tape is a play about an old man who reviews his life and assesses his predicament by listening to tapes he has preserved throughout his life. Along with this you can also catch up with the plays likes, Children of Divorce, Falls 2-11 and many more.
