The Grammy Awards Red Carpet 2014January 31, 2014 383 0 0
Steven Tyler, Madonna & Beyonce
Steven Tyler– The rockstar stood out from the rest by donning a well fitted all-white suit for the occasion.
Madonna– The Queen of Pop opted for an androgynous look in a Ralph Lauren Collection double breasted black jacket, white shirt and black wool pants complete with a black cane and hat. Don’t miss the Michael Jackson inspired jeweled glove.
Beyoncé – It is hard to think that Beyoncé’s enviable curves can cause more jealousy but they did. She looks gorgeous in a sheer cream lace embroidered Michael Costello gown.
Robin Thicke, Paula Patton, Yoko Ono & Sean Lennon
Paula Patton & Robin Thicke– Nominated for two awards, the Blurred Lines singer donned a navy blue Giorgio Armani suit with his girlfriend, Paula Patton, who was dressed in a zebra print gown by Nicolas Jebran.
Sean Lennon & Yoko Ono– The mother son duo showed up in edgy suits, shades & top hats.
Pharrell Williams & Kaskade
Pharrell Williams– Hogwarts called. They want their sorting hat back. But who cares about this fashion faux pas when you win three out of seven awards and your hat gets its own twitter handle, right?
Kaskade– The famous DJ & producer, nominated for the Best Dance/ Electronic Album, attended the awards ceremony in a purple blazer with a black button down shirt.
Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka– The HIMYM star posed with his partner, David Burtka in a styl-wait for it-ish suit to attend the awards function. Suit up we say!
Natasha Bedingfield, Katy Perry & Pink
Natasha Bedingfield– She wore a coral floor length gown by Christian Siriano. We just wish she had opted for another clutch, had done her hair better (looks as if the straightener was attached with velcro) and not gone with a drape on top. But big thumbs up for the stacked gold bangles by Samantha Wills.
Katy Perry– The ‘Unconditionally’ singer looked resplendent in this white Valentino gown, complete with musical notes, though it is straight off the runway. Nominated for two awards, she gets our nod with being one of the best dressed.
Pink– True to her name, she wore a strapless floor length pink Johanna Johnson gown.
Metallica– The rock band posed together wearing their sunnies. They look ready to perform on stage.
Kelly Osbourne– The Adams Family is missing Morticia. She has dyed her hair purple and wore a Badgley Mischka gown.
Jamie Foxx & Corinne Bishop
Jamie Foxx & Corinne Bishop– Singer actor Jamie Foxx wore a navy blue tux and posed with daughter, Corinne Bishop who wore a black crop top and a multi coloured skirt.
Daft Punk, Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis
Daft Punk– With their signature sci-fi helmets and those futuristic gloves they arrived with four nominations to their name (Album of the Year, Best Dance/Electronic Album, Record of the Year and Best Pop/Duo Performance) which they ended up winning. Got lucky there? Don’t miss out on the blingy shoes.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis- Nominated for seven awards and winning four, this duo looks stylish in their patterened and blue- green suits as they gear up to perform on the Grammy stage for the first time.
Billy Crystal– The actor arrived in a jovial mood and a well fitted suit for the awards.
Calvin Harris, Rita Ora, Chloe Green & Marc Anthony
Calvin Harris & Rita Ora– The DJ, nominated for the Best Electronic/ Dance Album, posed with girlfriend Rita Ora who rocked a metallic green/ metallic gold dress by Lanvin. We like!
Chloe Green & Marc Anthony– The couple looked adorable as they posed on the red carpet. Marc Anthony was nominated for the Best Latin Album.
Black Sabbath– Nominated for the Best rock Album and the Best Metal Performance, Black Sabbath posed together on the red carpet and went home with the award for the latter.
Alicia Keys, Anna Kendrick & Anna Faris
Alicia Keys– She definitely tops our list of the Best Dressed in a blue Armani Prive gown. Alicia Keys bagged the Best R&B Album award.
Anna Kendrick– She looked traffic- stopping good in this Azzaro gown. She has been the only one to sport a daring cage dress and still look great! Not a big fan of the pointed-toe silver pumps though.
Anna Faris– The actress wowed the onlookers in a blue strapless Fitriani gown. She presented the award for the Best Pop Duo performance.
Taylor Swift, Cyndi Lauper & Paris Hilton
Taylor Swift– She looks amazing in the Gucci Premiere gown and Jimmy Choo heels. She wore diamond studded earrings and stuck to the trend of smoky blue eyes. Totes awesome!
Cyndi Lauper– Trust her to take the red carpet look to another level. She wore an Alexander Mc Queen outfit complete with a cape with Jimmy Choo shoes and bagged the award for Best Musical Theatre Album for ‘Kinky Boots’.
Paris Hilton– The heiress wore a floor length part sheer white gown by Haus of Milani. Isn’t sheer over yet??? we can still pardon Ms. Hilton as she carries it off quite well.
