Legendary blended Scotch whisky brand ‘The Famous Grouse’ unveiled its 16-year-old ‘Vic Lee’ edition double matured blended Scotch whisky for Asian markets. The Scotch whisky, bottled at 40 per cent above alcohol value, is a mix of eight different whiskies, and is the foremost and latest series in the collectable version blends.
The whisky has been matured two times to guarantee an intense flavour. It is skillfully refined in a blend of primary fill Spanish sherry barrel (the most exclusive casks utilised in whisky manufacturing) and primary fill American bourbon barrel. The outcome is alluring and gleaming gold tinge contradicting a full-bodied essence – a stunning mix of zesty nutmeg and cinnamon bark notes with a trace of silky and velvety vanilla.
The tailor-made prominent pink and purple carton has intricate graphic work designed by award-winning illustrator Vic Lee. While the bottle has Vic’s regular pen work with a stylised grouse; the wraparound for the pack has the grouse taking flight with elaborate details like its natural surroundings and typographic embellishments. The design is believed to replicate the rich legacy of the brand, and motivated by the ‘world of the grouse’ and the innate essentials of the whisky-making process. This extraordinary blend will be offered in key airports across Asia like Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, along with worldwide domestic markets.
Business traveller attracted to unique casing and values the rich legacy of a fine quality blend. The Famous Grouse’s special edition is absolutely undeniable.
