Even though Google has yet to announce its updates on the launch of Nexus 6 smartphone, critics have made speculations on the expected release date and the specifications of the phone.
Back at the MWC in February 2014, Sundar Pichai of Google had announced that Google is unlikely to launch new Nexus smartphones in the first half of 2014. But if the release of Nexus 4 and 5 smartphones are recollected, that Nexus 5 was launched in October 2013 and went on sale in Google Play during November and it was the same for Nexus 4. Joining all these dots, critics believe that Nexus 6 is likely to be launched by November and not before that.
As per market beliefs, Nexus 6 is likely to be the first device to carry Google’s Android L update which is tipped to launch during Q4. The upcoming version of Nexus will be built by LG and launched by Motorola in the market. With rumours afloat that this might just be the last project of LG especially because Google is looking for a new player to hand over the Nexus project.
This smartphone is expected to come with true octa-core 2.4 Ghz+ processor along with 64GB and 128GB memory versions. Critics expect the phone will have at least 4GB RAM and 20MP ultra low light sensitivity camera sensor. Besides the 5.5-6 inches 2K UHD resolution display, the battery is expected to be of 3100 mAh. Nexus 6 is also likely to have finger print, health, atmosphere, thermo and other security sensors too.
