A weekend spent tasting wine and dancing to some beautiful music, is definitely a weekend well-spent. The SulaFest 2016 lets you do just that. It is currently in its 9th year and will be held on the 6th and 7th of February. VERO MODA, its presenting sponsor is all set to make this weekend a fashionable one too.
The SulaFest is indeed a celebration of some of the finest artists, along with the best gourmet food, beautiful fashion clothing and the best wine of course! Stay in a tent amidst the mesmerising wine yards and enjoy a camp fire. We’re guessing you’re all excited about it already, so here is everything you need to know about the SulaFest.
Where & when?
The fest is held at the winery’s Greek-style open air amphitheatre. The winery is located at Nashik and you can easily get there by bus. There are special arrangements made to pick you up from one of their decided locations and take you to the wine paradise. To save big, do book your tickets for the fest on BookMyShow through Couponraja. The party is expected to start at around 12:30 PM on its first day and will go on up to the 7th.
What To Expect?
They’ve outdone themselves with over 100 national and international artists performing more than 25 genres. You’ll find yourself floating away to some melodious tunes by Kailasa performing Sufi music or Tribal Flora performing some psychedelic ones. The music festival will have performers from Spain, Australia, and the UK and over 23 such countries.
The Cat Empire is said to make its debut in India with the SulaFest this year. This Australian band is known to perform some incredible ska and jazz music.
For the party animal in you, the Sulafest will host its super cool dance floor at the Atmasphere stage where you can find Dj’s spinning and making your dance to house and Techno music.

Go on a wine tasting spree as they have a wide selection. Hardys happens to be their wine partner along with Asahi Super Dry Beer, Grant’s Family Reserve Whiskey, Jack Daniel’s Bourbon and many more! For the hungry souls, they have The Bombay Food Truck, Olive Bar and Kitchen, and delicious food to go with their amazing wine!
You can shop at the SulaFest Bazaar, or get a relaxing foot massage. The fest also includes fun activities like Tarot reading, that amazing grape stomping you’ve always seen in the movies, you can do that too!
Book a tent and spend your night at the tent city, where you can camp over the weekend, spending time surrounded by the beautiful wine yards.
The VERO MODA spring summer collection 2016 is another showstopper at the SulaFest. The brand is all set to leave you surprised with their glamorous fashion show. Last year celebrities like Shriya Saran, Isha Koppikar, Yash Birla, Prahlad Kakkar and Shahzahn Padamsee were seen at the event.
