Nexus 6 expected to be launched between October and November is likely to be the first device to carry Google’s Android L update. Built by LG, the phone will be launched by Motorola in the market. This phone is expected be packed with octa-core 2.4Ghz+ processor along with 64GB and 128GB memory versions along with 4GB RAM and 20MP ultra low light sensitivity camera sensor. Besides, features like finger print, health, atmosphere and thermo sensor are expected to be added to this one.
Chinese electronics giant ZTE’s flagship phablet, Nubia Z7 is expected to enter Indian markets by October. Even as the expected features and other details of the product are yet to be revealed, it is believed that ZTE will give a competition to Xiaomi Mi 3. So expect a phablet with features either similar to Mi3 or better than that.
The much awaited Samsung Note 4 is expected to unveil itself on September 3. This smartphone may have a 2560×1440 resolution screen with 500+ppi as against Note 3’s 1080×1920 pixels with 386 ppi pixel density. It is also expected that this model will have 16MP rear camera with ISOCELL technology along with 4K video recording and a 2MP front camera that will have 1080p video recording.
Even though the official dates of the launch of iPhone 6 has not been announced, it is suspected by critics that the phone will be released by mid September. iOS 8 was launched on June 2 at WWDC this year and iPhone 6 is expected to be launched with the same. On July 23, Microsoft devices unveiled the Nokia Lumia 530 smartphone, a Windows Phone 8.1 device. It was promoted as the most affordable Lumia handset to date which follows in the footsteps of Nokia Lumia 520 smartphone. The Lumia 530 has just a 5MP camera, but it might outperform in terms of battery life, with its 1,430mAh battery that offers 10 hours of talk time and 22 days on standby. This phone has 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded by an additional 128GB via microSD card.
Domestic handset maker Maxx Mobile has announced its expansion of portfolio with the launch of 9 smartphones and 8 feature phones over the next few weeks. It aims to garner revenue to the tune of Rs 3,600 crore by launching affordable devices. The smartphones that will be launched by Maxx will be priced between Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 6,000. While the features are yet to be revealed, it has been confirmed that all phones will be Android based.
