It has become a routine for Samsung to reveal its news range of high tech gadgets every other day. Latest, the renowned brand has introduced its refreshing Galaxy Tab line. Named as Tab4 series, the device will be available in 10.1 inches, 8.0 inches, and 7.0 inches screen sizes featuring Samsung software.
Design wise, the Tab4 series devices looks similar to the Galaxy Note III and Galaxy S5, however it is packed with low-end hardware. The devices will have a faux-leather finish that of the Note and on the other hand its capacitive multitasking as well as back button placement will be very much like the S5.
Now talking about the operating systems, all three models will work on 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1.5 GB RAM. The 1280×800 WVGX display is complimented by a 3 mega pixel rear-facing and 1.3 mega pixel front-facing cameras.
Samsung Tab4 will come with at least 8 GB of internal storage capacity as well as MicroSD card slots. Dat transfer can be done through microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. One of the evident differences amongst the devices is power capacity; the 10.1 inches tablet is powered by a 6,800 mAh battery while the 8.0 inches uses 4,450mAh.
Along with the Wi-Fi only versions, the Tab4 series are compatible with 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE and HSPA+. The devices come packed with Android 4.4 KitKat, Samsung Link, Samsung’s Group Play, WatchON, ChatON, and other apps.
Samsung is planning to the ship the devices in Q2 of this year. They haven’t yet revealed the pricing of the gadget but considering it is a low-end device we expect it to be quite affordable and a budget buy.
