The world’s first Tizen-OS powered smartphone , Samsung Z was unveiled giving the Android lovers, another option to explore. This South Korean consumer electronics company showed off its new product that would be a break from majority of Samsung products itself which are android based. This unveiling came after a few days of Apple launching its iOS 8 that would be used in the next iphones.

DJ Lee, President and head of Global Sales and Marketing office, Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics expressed that this OS will be faster while browsing the net and will utilize applications more effectively. This step reflects independence from the Google Android platform, as announced by Samsung before the launch.
