Revolver Rani a.k.a Alka Singh is not any ordinary dacoit. Alka is a fashionista who orders a designer outfit from Paris, dreams of touring Benice (Venice), and has a lover who is a Bollywood wannabe.
Rani (Kangana Ranaut) induces a mix of mood: kindness, revulsion, and exhilaration. Filmed in Chambal, the film is about how a gruesome goon by the name Alka Singh finds herself falling in love with a struggling actor. But will the film’s plot keep the viewers occupied? Find out more…
Director Sai Kabir has dealt with a complex love affair of lady thug and Bollywood struggler efficiently. The story is fresh & inane, and the core of the script is plain – politics, influence and vengeance.
Time and again, the film resembles Quentin Tarantino’s film Kill Bill technique. Sai has laid down the ambiance with an iniquitous mix of eccentricity, aggression and an assorted background score. He has managed to nail the film with strong characters and plot.
Kangna with her bronzed tone, kohl eyes, and mercurial temper gives a dynamite-like incredible performance. Vir Das (Rohan) has proved his flair yet again with his excellent comic timing, Balli (Piyush Mishra) Alka’s Shakuni-esque uncle is outstanding and Udaybhan Tomar (Zakir Hussain) adds more power to stratagem.
Revolver Rani is a must watch for Kangana’s excellent feat as a mutinous political gangster. The film is overloaded with hooligans and weapons in each scene; it is a complete madcap entertainer.
There are too many reasons to watch Revolver Rani this weekend. A brilliant piece of cinema with plenty of hearty laughter, excellent performance and notorious dialogues to look forward too!! A complete entertainer!!
