With Manji and Drishyam doing incredibly well at the Box Office in the month of August, we await for September. A total of 35 films would be released, and this only accounts the English and Hindi movies combined. The number keeps getting bigger and bigger!!! The Khans, the Kapoors, The Bacchaans, The Johars, etc have all become ‘brand names’ as if. A movie released with one of these names associated easily passes 100 crores (whether it’s worth or not) and it becomes easy for audience to choose. But what about those months, when the movies have no ‘brand names’?? In such cases, all you need to do is browse the Royale!!! Yes, here we makes choices simple for you. The top 4 movies you should watch this September

Director : M. Night Shyamalan
Cast : Kathryn Hahn, Olivia DeJonge, Ed Oxenbould, Deanna Dunagan, and Benjamin Kanes.
Plot : Two young children pay a visit to their grandparents and stay in their remote farmhouse in Pennsylvania. They soon find out there’s something fishy going around in the house.
M. Night Shyamalan is known for the twists in the plots he develops. However, this Indian-American director has had a weird career. His last movie, After Earth (released in 2013), received negative responses. We hope this Hor-Com does well; we want the Sixth Sense guy back!!!

Director : Madhur Bhandarkar
Cast : Avani Modi, Akanksha Puri, Satarupa Pyne, Ruhi Singh, and Kyra Dutt
Plot : Calendar Girls explores the journey of 5 models and their rise to stardom.
Talent – hardwork – mediocrity – rise – stardom – luxury – attitude – fall – redemption; Fashion and Herione had a similar plot. The guy who gave us movies like Page 3, Traffic Signal, and Fashion hasn’t had the best at the box office with his recent releases. We hope Calendar Girls (which we feel would have a plot similar to Fashion and Heroine) does not turn out be another predictable drama we’ve already seen.

Director : Nikhil Advani
Cast : Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty, Govinda, and Vinod Khanna
Plot : Hero unravels an intense love story between a boy, Sooraj, (who is raised on the streets of Mumbai) and a girl, Radha, (who is the daughter of the Chief of Police).
We mention this movie (not for Nikhil Advani, NO) because it would be launching Sooraj Pancholi (son of Aditya Pancholi) and Athiya Shetty (daughter of Sunil Shetty). This is a remake of Subhash Ghai’s ‘Hero’ (1983), which was declared as a super-hit then and Jackie Shroff rose to stardom soon after. Will history be repeated?
So, this was it folks!!! Just 4 movies made it to our list this month. Let us know how they were.
