iPhone fans in India who have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on iPhone 6 may have to wait a little longer than expected. The phone that was expected to be launched in India by September 26 was later postponed to October 17 but now it is speculated that the phone won’t be launched before November.
According to the recent report by a national newspaper, Indian fans will have to wait longer due to the over whelming response in US. Around 4 million pre-orders were received for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in US on the very first day of launch. In order to meet these targets, iPhone has informed their US customers that they will receive their products only by next month. This huge response in US has delayed the launch in India.
The official Apple retailers in India were contacted by the national daily to get inputs on the launch of the phone in India. In general, they have confirmed the possibility of the phone being available in India by October is slim. The starting price of the iPhone 6 is speculated to be Rs 55,000 to Rs 60,000 while that of iPhone 6 Plus is expected to be between Rs 60,000 and Rs 65,000.
