Spread the love

Lately, all the mobile phones have become bigger and better. Not everyone is a fan of big phones simply because they usually do not fit well in our hands in our pockets. Recently, many small sized smartphone are introduced in the market. Gadgets such as Sony Xperia Z1, the Moto G and Micromax Canvas Turbo Mini are some devices that make you believe that big things come in small packages.

Micromax Canvas Turbo Mini flaunts 4.7 inches IPS touchscreen of 1280×720 pixels. The phone is small enough to be held comfortably in one hand. Powered by 1.3GHz quad, which is coupled with 1GB RAM, the device works on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

Memory and Storage

The smartphone comes with 4 GB internal memory and can be extended up to 32 GB using microSD card. The internal memory is quite disappointing as out of 4 GB, only 2.5 GB is free for the user to use. Canvas Turbo Mini offers dual-SIM (Standard SIM + microSIM).

The smartphone is packed with 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. You can use the camera for 720p HD video recording too. The camera offers picture effects such as smile shot, face detection, zero shutter delay, panorama and self-timer should please the user. The connectivity options offered by Canvas Turbo Mini are Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4 and GPS.

The battery of 1800 mAh is non-removable and fails to offer even a decent back up. The battery will not last a day especially for an average-high user.

The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs. 12,000 approximately.

Well, at this price, Micromax Canvas Turbo Mini is a good buy considering it offers a decent camera and expandable memory option.
