There’s no need to wait for the release of Transformers film, instead watch the new BMW 4 Series switch from coupe to convertible. Post their launch of M3 sedan and the M4 coupe, BMW has now moved on to launch the 2015 M4 Convertible at New York Auto Show this year
Here’s a dekko at the stunning and sporty coupe.
This BMW M4 has a modified front bumper with some wide air intakes, a weighty but curved bonnet and broad front & rear fenders. The front bumper is presented with aerodynamic gills, while the rear bumper encompasses quad exhaust tips. The M4 coupe offers a better driving experience as it is fitted with new mirror caps, new 18-inch alloy wheels and coloured brake calipers.
But what differentiates the M4 convertible from other models? It is the three-piece metal roof, which takes just 20 seconds (operates at the speed of 18kmph) to opens and close. And with the introduction of convertible roof, the boot space has also been reduced from 370 litres to 220 litres.
M4 also comes with modified interiors, which includes sport seats with special ‘M’ badging, an M-specific steering wheel, and leather like fabric over the dashboard and centre console. Stay connected through the USB and Bluetooth while the heated front seats, a front and rear park assistance, and folding exterior mirror, a ride in this convertible will prove to be a mind blowing experience.
The engine under the cover is 3.0-litre twin power turbocharged six-cylinder units that generate 435PS of max power and 550Nm of peak torque. BMW asserts new variant can sprint from 0-100kmph in just 4.2 seconds.
With its price slated to be around Rs. 60 lakhs and slightly more, the 2015 BMW M4 convertible will be put on sale across the globe in September. In India, it is likely to be available as a CBU model and with its price above Rs. 1 crore. Pricey …isn’t it?
Either way, the superb looking 2015 BMW M4 convertible is a beauty by itself – complete with looks and super specifications.
