LG has announced that it will introduce Android Lollipop 5.0.1 update in the LG G2 devices by early 2015. The recent LG flagship phone LG G3 will also get the updated Android version soon. For the users who have already bought LG G2 in 2013 can also expect to get the Android Lollipop 5.0.1 update on their phones in coming weeks. The new android update is said to simplify the usage of apps and other functions on LG Smartphone.
