If there is one night to burst-out all the sparkles and shine-out bright, then it’s definitely gotta be on the New Year’s Eve! No matter you are planning a big night out with your gang or a peaceful evening with that someone special or may be something in-between; you must dress-up well to welcome the New Year.
In this article we have compiled 5 looks that you can easily carry to a New Year’s party with utmost grace:
This minimalist look is one of my favs to rock at a party!
A sleek hairstyle which does not interfere with your groovy moves and that popping lip colour will ensure your dance moves look nothing less than seductive. You can go for classy metallic shades or even fancier shades depending upon your personal taste to mark a beautiful end to the year 2015. The soft pastel shade of the coat paints a feminine and a chick feel to your look.
I would recommend that you complete your look with minimal accessories and nude pumps or stilettos.
You can never go wrong with a gold dress for a New Year’s party!
Gold is the colour to go for, but I also agree that one must not look like a jewellery store! Opt for softer shades of gold and pair it with something white or black. The gleam of gold can be easily muted by the darkness of a well fitted black overcoat and accessories when outdoors. Team the look with nude lips and Smokey eye makeup along with a classic chignon bun for a sophisticated New Year party eve look.
The only word of caution is, “Be a golden girl and not a golden disco ball”. I hope you understand what I mean 😉
Want to stand-out, invest in a tulle skirt!
Add some drama to your New Year’s party dress with a gorgeous tulle skirt. Go for a short or a long skirt and pair it with a 5-inch pumps and a contrast top. As a word of caution, never pair a tulle skirt with a matching top or tights, otherwise you might end up look like a ballerina
This should be your last minute go-to look!
Put on a peppy jumpsuit and create a structured silhouette by pairing it up with a crisp blazer. Put on a choker or a cocktail ring with a messy bun or pin straight hair.
You can go as creative as you want and be assure, you will not fail. This is the beauty of this look, it’s blissfully effortless.
Spell the black magic!
Well, yes it is clichéd, but when in doubt go the BLACK way. It camouflage all your flaws from those cookies, ice creams and cakes. Take the liberty to choose the fabric and length that you feel comfortable in. Accessorise your black frill, frock style or bodycon dress with chic gold or silver jewellery to uplift the oomph factor!
And honestly, do we need to tell you how to accessorise it? Have fun with the colours hun! 😉
Do not forget these looks are just for your references and we will be waiting for the pictures of your New Year’s Eve looks. Dear ladies it’s the last page of the 2015 chapter so dress as you like because “Mauka hai aur dastoor bhi”.
