Even after 14 years since its launch, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) seems to have the same place in the hearts of Indian audience. Big B’s incredible talent and massive fan following was clearly evident on the launch day of the season 8 of the show.
The stadium in Surat where the show was launched witnessed a massive audience. Along with Big B, the host of the show was Kapil Sharma who kept entertaining the audience with his witty comments. From the start of to its end, the show was complete package of entertainment and naach gana.
Singer Neeti Mohan lifted the mood of the show with her melodious talent and peppy numbers of Meiyang Chang kept the audience glued to the show. Deepa Jagtiani, a businesswoman who was the first contestant of the show won Rs 6, 40,000. The second contestant won Rs 10,000. It was the first time that KBC has stepped out of its usual sets and is doing the show at a grander level.
An adaption of UK game show – ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire?’ – KBC was started in 2000 and since then it has grown leaps and bounds. This time the show has focused on peace and religious bonding with the tag line- ‘Yahan sirf paisa nahi dil bhi jeete jate hai’.
