Cricket Academy of Pathans for budding cricketers

The dream venture of Pathan brothers – Yusuf and Irfan of launching a cricket academy was launched on Thursday in their home town, Baroda. Even as these Indian cricketers have 5-7 years of cricket still left, decided to go ahead with the academy plans now as they had this vision since long time. Wishing to give back something to cricket, the Pathan brothers launched the hence the Cricket Academy of Pathans

This cricket academy will have two modules viz. a course that will be for duration of 8-9 weeks and an advanced course. After the completion of 8-9 week course, the interested candidate can apt for an advanced course. The academy will offer these courses throughout the year.

The Pathan brothers plan to go to schools that have proper infrastructure wherein they can setup the course. They have also figured out a few schools and the course is expected to start from next month end. The brothers have also tied up with Greg Chappell, the former India coach and Cameron Tradell. They will be the chief mentors and train the coaches of the academy.

Further, the Pathan brothers aim at having 50 such academies across the country in coming years and by next year, they plan to take it to three other cities.
