Karwar: Yes, it’s time to head off to the land of the sun, sand and sea. And no, we aren’t talking about the much travelled Goa. Just head to the borders of Goa and Karnataka to the slightly offbeat Karwar.

The beaches here are clean and virginal. From the amazing Om beach which incidentally looks like a giant Om from a bird’s eye view or watch the dolphins jump in glee in the Kali River or just rest your weary back in the tents at the adventurous camp sites of Jungle lodge. It’s romantic, picturesque and incredibly amazing.
