Apple finally pulls up the curtain off much awaited iOS 8- the latest version of Apple’s operating system. Though iOS 8 does not look much different than iOS 7 that was introduced last year, it will have a set of new applications that will be the main attraction for the consumers – ability to check mails faster, fast swiping alerts and notifications are more developed in this version.
This revamp version of iOS 7 will also have an app that will help users check their blood pressure, temperature and pulse. The application-HealthKit will help to send the information to the family doctor. This application will rely on additional equipment, such as wrist-strap and heart monitor that will connect wirelessly to the iPhone, explained Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Sharing across the family becomes much easier with iOS 8 after the user sets family as a unit. May it be photos, calendar or anything on phone; the user can share them with 6 family members. Parents also get a quick alert when children buy any new games or movies.
The biggest development in this new version is the Touch ID using which a whole range of product and services will be just a finger swipe away. A fingerprint authorized purchase will be enabled on phone while buying anything from the retailers.
The Apple CEO revealed that iOS 8 will be available in market in the ‘fall’ or autumn this year – the expected time of iPhone 6 release and as it goes without saying, iPhone 6 will debut iOS 8.
