A Never Like Before Design: iPhone X reigned supreme at Apple’s latest launch event, widening many eyes with its stunning and exclusive design. Indeed, iPhone X looks completely different from any of the existing iPhone models, hinting at what Apple’s design philosophy is going to be like in the coming years. Except for the thin trapezoid indention housing the front camera and sensors, near its upper edge, the iPhone X has an edge to edge glass display. Apple has also trimmed its bezel to an almost imperceptible thickness, giving this flagship an edgier and sleeker appearance. Another major change in design is the absence of home button, enabling users to operate with on-screen touch functionality. The power button has to be tapped for Apple Pay and long pressing it will bring Siri to your aid. The body is made with a combination of stainless steel and glass, infusing the needed sturdiness in its built without compromising on style a single bit.

A Bigger Than Before Display: Like the design, the display of iPhone X exudes novelty as well. This is the first flagship in which Apple has used OLED display, also known as Super Retina HD Display, with 2436X1125 pixel resolution and 458 ppi for vibrant and refined picture quality. Unlike, regular LEDs that light up blacks, turning them into a darker grey shade, OLED does not flash dark colours like black with a light, making the contrast more pleasing to eyes and the colours even brighter. Incorporated with Apple’s TrueTone Technology, this smartphone’s display makes hours of browsing less strenuous for your eyes. Due to a considerable reduction in the screen-to-size ratio, iPhone X has a bigger screen without being heftier in size than the iPhone 7.

A Cool Camera: As expected, iPhone X comes packed with incredible rear and front cameras. The vertical camera strip at its back contains dual 12-megapixel camera sensors with f/1.8 and ½.4 aperture sizes. The brand-new Portrait Lighting Mode of this phone’s camera lets you tune the flash from a naturally lit effect to a spotlight effect as needed. To minimize any chances of shakes iPhone X comes with Dual Optical Image Stabilization technology. Another remarkable feature is its 4K video quality and slow-motion shooting with HD quality. The camera panel at the back is also loaded with quad-LED True Tone Flash. The 7-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture size offers features like body and face detection, retina flash, exposure control and auto image stabilisation.

A Safer Face ID: Doing away with the fingerprint sensor, Apple has introduced the face recognition or Face ID technology with iPhone X. The dot projector, flood illuminator, and infrared camera work in coherence for recognizing the face of users before unlocking the phone.

An Updated Operating System: The new iPhone X will flaunt an updated iOS 11.

An advanced Chipset: It houses an A11 Bionic chip with 64-bit architecture and M11 motion processor.

Price: $999 or INR 89,000/-

iPhone 8 : The Most awaited Phones of 2017

Apple’s iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X and Apple Watch 3 Series Launched: Specs and Details

A Robust Design: Apple has adopted an all glass design, discarding the old metal uni-body one seen in previous models, for both iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Both the smartphones now have glass fronts and backs. The glass back is helpful for wireless charging. These two phones are also water and dust resistant, enhancing their longevity for daily use.

A Powerful Chipset: Both iPhone 8 and 8 Plus possess similar A11 Bionic chipset and hexa-core System on Chip or SoC. The two primary cores of A11 chipset enhances performance by 25% while its secondary core cluster helps in increasing speed by 70%, offering powerful overall performance. Their efficient GPU improves graphics quality by 30% without draining the battery.

Superlative Cameras: Maintaining the high Apple standards, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have been adorned with outstanding camera sensors and premium features. The iPhone 8 Plus has got 12 MP dual lens camera in its rear. The iPhone 8, on the other hand, still sports a 12 MP single rear lens without compromising on quality or merit. Another feature that differentiates iPhone 8 Plus from iPhone 8 is the Portrait Lighting mode which can be used for adjusting lighting during real time shooting, according to circumstances. With the iPhone 8 Plus, users will be able to make 4k videos at 60 frames per second speed. For slow motion video capturing the fps will be 240.

A Marvellous Display: The size and resolution of the display are also major factors that distinguish the iPhone 8 Plus from iPhone 8. The iPhone 8 Plus flaunts a 5.5-inch screen with 1080 X 1920 pixel of resolution whereas the iPhone 8 has only 4.7 inches of screen with 750 X 1334 pixel of resolution. The 325 ppi pixel density of iPhone 8 is another reason for disappointment after a year of holding breath. iPhone 8 Plus offers a more decent pixel density at 400 ppi.

An assortment of Colours: iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will be available soon in the market in attractive colours like Space Gray, Silver and Gold.

Price: iPhone 8’s price in India will be INR 64,000, and iPhone 8 Plus’s price will start from INR 76,000.

Apple Watch Series 3: A Competitor to Rolex

Apple’s iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X and Apple Watch 3 Series Launched: Specs and Details

While launching the third generation of Apple Watch, Tim Cook has shared the news that its line of watches has overtaken Rolex in terms of sales figures. Here are the latest specs that the newly launched Apple Watch Series 3 has to offer.

A Sublime Design: Except the bright red crown, the Apple Watch Series 3 offers little newness in terms of design. It looks more or less same as its predecessor. Also, similar to the previous model, the Series 3 too is incorporated with dust and water resistance. Apple’s mastery, however, lies in keeping this watch the same size despite the addition of a SIM, dual core processor and radio.

A Perfect Cellular Feature: Apple has smartly opted for an alternative to the usual electronic SIM cards used in smartphones for enabling an independent cellular feature in its Apple Watch 3 Series. Users can make quick calls with the help of this device even without the presence of the iPhone in the vicinity. So, you can go for walks, runs and enjoy the outdoor sports, wearing only the Apple Watch Series 3, without being disconnected from family and peers.

Amazing Speakers: In this third generation of Apple Watch, the tech giant has been able to incorporate a good quality speaker so that users can speak to Siri with its help while cycling, rafting or trying to find their way around the town.

Price: Available in India 29th September onwards, the Apple Watch Series 3’s price will start from INR 29,900/-.
