It’s an action packed trekking location with 2 rapelling patches, many natural ponds and valleys so narrow, that even the sun cannot reach you.

How to get there: Take a train to Kalyan on the Central Railway line. After reaching Kalyan board an ST bus to Alephata and get down at Khubi Phata, get a jeep or walk it up to the base village – Khireshwar.

Located in the Sahyadris, this is another trek that tests your stamina and patience. The route consists of rock climbing, rapelling, steep climbs, never-ending walks but there are also huge caves and water ponds as saviours from the tough road ahead.

How to get there: You will have to take a bus from Pune to Shrungarpur which is the base village to start the trek. The ones setting out from Mumbai will have to go from Mahad.
