The Japanese gadget giant announced Tecra W50 and Satellite P50t with an impressive 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution. In October last year, the laptops were introduced with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Loaded with the latest Microsoft Windows 8.1 OS, the devices are primarily aimed at professionals working with high intensity graphics. The display will feature an edge-to-edge glass for better clarity and contrast.
The Tecra W50 and the Satellite P50t is powered by the fourth generation Intel Core i7 processor and features a 15.6-inch display with comparatively wider viewing angles. However, not much is presently known about the specifications. Moreover, Toshiba has also not yet disclosed the price.
Interestingly, Panasonic is most likely to launch the Toughpad 4K UT-MB5 sporting a massive 20-inch display and may cost somewhere around Rs. 370,000. So, Toshiba definitely has something to watch out for.
Overall, the Tecra W50 and the Satellite P50t, both come packed with a bunch of cool features. No doubt then, the price may swing a bit on the expensive side, but that shouldn’t bother you if you are looking for something really powerful.
