While you prep up for the day in the morning, battling with your frizzy hair can be quite frustrating. Most of us would agree to trade a lot of our precious things just to have a gorgeous-looking mane. You’ll probably be surprised to know that it needs way less than that.
Just a couple of ingredients from your kitchen and you can get silky, shiny and bouncy hair that you always dreamt of! So, here is the list of ingredients:
Mix it with equal amounts of water and it can turn into a conditioner like no other. Use it as a final rinse after you finish washing your hair. Once you know how soft your hair feels you’ll probably buy a new bottle to put on the bathroom shelf. It is safe, so you can use it up to 4 times a week.
With rich amounts of nutrients, vitamins and minerals, beer makes for a great option to moisturize your hair. Apply a coat of beer to your hair, let it sit for a while and then rinse it with cold water. It adds shine to your hair and once every two weeks should be enough to do the wonders.
Mix this with almond oil and eggs and make sure you coat your hair thoroughly with the mixture. Cover your hair while the mixture settles and rinses it with diluted vinegar. Who thought mayo could do more than just making food taste better?
This one is the most obvious solution. To get rid of frizzy hair, apply coconut oil to your hair the night before you wash it. It penetrates into the hair shaft nourishing and moisturising those hair strands.
Mash one of these with curd to form a smooth paste and use it as a hair mask. It instantly helps to control all the frizzy hair and prevents dryness. You could use it once or twice a week.
Bananas are rich in potassium and natural oils that help in making your hair soft and shiny. Add a mashed banana to some yogurt and two tablespoons of honey and olive oil. Use t as a mask and wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner as usual. Use it once every week and you won’t have complaints.
Full of protein, coconut milk is great to moisturize your hair. Heat it until warm and then apply it to your hair and keep it covered. Leave it overnight and wash it for some amazingly bouncy and frizz free shiny hair.
Mix this with water and massage it into your scalp. Leave it for half an hour and then rinse your hair with some cold water. You will have frizz free shiny hair in no time.
Mix a few tablespoons of honey with pumpkin puree and use it as a mask. Leave it on for 15 minutes before you wash it off. PS: this one works great on your skin too!
Use this to make a handy hair spray. Mix some sugar with a cup of water and rub some of it on your dry hair. It helps to control the frizz while keeping your hair slightly crunchy.
